She was a gift and a wonderful stitch. Beading was enjoyable but took some time.

Here are some photos from the latest Mirabilia RR. Rachel has chosen Pixie Couture for her theme and her fabric is so beautiful and soft in person. I chose to stitch "Ivy".

Mediterranean Mermaid Start

Here is my first 5 days of progress.  This is a fun design to stitch.  The fabric is 28 count opalescent lugana from Polstitches (the color is called Friendship).

September sapphire fairy

I had a big problem with the Caron thread

I go to the cleaner (pressing) and now it's better. The wings are a little bigger than on Nora's chart.

I finally stitch the wings of the september sapphire fairy.

I don't like much these wings which look as if they were not finished. I ask me if I change it. What do you think? Pereaps a little bigger near the arm.

Hi everybody! My name is Anikó. Kathy was so kind, and sent me invitation to this blog. All of your works are fantastic!

I also love all of these mermaids, fairies and princesses of Mirabilia. Nowadays I work on two Mirabilia stitching: Emerald Mermaid and Cinderella. But there are two others on my to do list: Mermaids of the Deep Blue and the Mediterranean Mermaid.

I'm stitching on Aida (18 count) with DMC threads. I also use Mill Hills and Kreiniks.

Little about myself:

I was born and live in Szeged, in Hungary. I'm married since 2003. We have four daughters: Viki is 7 years, Gabi is 5 years, and the twins Adri and Betti are 3 months old. I started to stitch 15 years ago.
