choices?????
these are the choice Jill Rensel has sent to me, she is also going to paint flowers leaves and vines on the mat. I love the burgandy but will the paintings of the leaves etc show up?
It is very dificult. If I had to choose i would take the first (clair brown frame) or the last (Burgandy). I think the paintings will be good on the burgandy but may be to hard on the brown clair.
I'd take Jills advice. If she says they will show, I'm sure they will show up great :-)
But, I actually think the middle one shows off your stitching the best. The burgundy sure is dramatic but for me the red mounts steals her show just sightly. Your stitching is beautiful BTW xx
I think I like the first choice best. The vines and leaves will pop more then without taking away from the stitching. I think that if you were to use the burgundy mats that the eye would be drawn to that first before the stitching. She's too beautiful to share!
She is beautiful. My choice is the last one-with the burgundy mat. I think the darker color really makes her pop off of the fabric while the lighter shades just seem to blend in. Just my opinion. I've not seen Jill's painting, but I am sure she will paint them so that they will be a nice compliment to your piece. Good luck with your decision.

My favorite is the one in the middle.

I love the top one best. The bottom one looks to strong although that said I do love the colour!
