A little something different

Well, here's a Mira but done a little differently.
I have joined a Mirabilia RR on the Worldwide Round Robin Board that starts on June 15th. There are 9 participants in this RR and I have stitched with most of them personally before. I am looking forward to this one.
Here is my RR to date.
It is stitched on 32 count Summer Winds Lugana -a lovely hand-dyed fabric. I bordered the wedges in Kreinik #4 braid alternating gold and a black/silver combination. Unfortunately, one of the black squares is unfinished as I have lost the spool of thread and cannot find it anywhere. Not only that, I didn't make a note of the color, so now it's a guessing game to find another one. Each square is 30 narrow, 50 wide, and 60 high.
I have chosen Fairy Moon to stitch in one square. I am leaving the choice of what to stitch in the other squares to each individual.
I will keep you posted on the progress of the Mirabilia RR's as I receive them and stitch on them.
Hopefully, I will see updates of my RR along the way.

Chipping away at Autumn Queen

I don't have much progress but I wanted to prove that I've been working on Autumn Queen! I really do enjoy her. This is progress after a couple of evenings. I don't get as much stitching time as I would like so this is actually a bit of progress for me!

Crystal Symphony

Finished! There are SO many beads on this piece -literally, not a square inch without beading of some sort. As you can see, I opted to leave off the chandelier and the frame - I thought they were a bit overkill given how ornate her dress and jewelry are.

Hi everyone! Introducing myself...

Hi everyone! Kathy was nice enough to let me join your group. My name is Stacy and I live in Nothern NJ. I'm hoping that you guys can give me some inspiration since I love Mirabilia's, have a ton in my stash... and Autumn Queen is one of my oldest WIPs. I love her and I don't know why she hasn't gotten more attention than this...

I want very much to start Petal Fairy, Trick or Treat Fairy, Halloween Fairy and Blubeard's Princess... LOL... maybe I should try to get more done on AQ first???
Anyway, it will be great to get to know of all you... hopefully I will be posting progress often!

Crystal Symphony

I'm back working on Crystal Symphony, which I have not really worked on since last August or September. She's my oldest WIP (I started her last May) and also the WIP that is closest to being finished.

I've spent the last couple days filling in all of the white on the dress, which took two whole skeins of white floss to finish up. So while I've made a lot of progress, she doesn't necessarily *look* it since the last picture LOL. I had to frog a chunk of her shoulder, which is done over-1. Ugh. The only thing harder than stitching 32 over 1 is frogging 32 over 1. I also got most of the backstitching on the dress done.

I'm not thrilled with the chandelier on the original picture, so I think I'm going to just omit it, and possibly all of the frame as well. If I do keep the frame, I can just lower it to compensate for the lack of chandelier. I have to decide that today or tomorrow, since all I have to do is the gloves, the Kreinik on the throw, and a small part of the shoulder before I start on the beading (of which there is a TON - 12 packages of Mill Hills!).

Juls assorted stitching

Wow...I have been rather visibly absent from here....can't even figure out why......I am stalled on Holly just the beads and specialty threads to complete. Must finish her!

I found a picture of Angel Proclamation from 10 years ago that just needs the beads and silk.....now why did I stop working on this beauty...my brother very accidently spilled printer ink on it.....no place viable I just figured out so I have no good reason not to finish it! Oh and yes said brother is still alive...he was so sorry! The photo is before I did some of the wording.....just can't find that new picture!!!! I am hopelessly disorganized...there I said it and it's out there!
Next is a new Mirabilia start Miss Valentine's Fairy The fabric is a crystal blue from PTPlus....just not sure of the exact name...but it's pale....will post it soon!
Thanks for looking!!! I may not comment but everyone's stitching is so beautiful and inspiring!!!!!

A Long Journey

....is finally over. Not only have I finished Summer Queen, but she is the fourth and final of the Four Queens, a project I started back in 1999 (!!!).

I'll have more info posted on my personal blog in the next day or two, but for now - I'm exhausted LOL
